Got my players' booklets for the Ix / Dying Sun campaign finished and printed out. I'm pleased with the result -- a very fun little project!
The first is a guide to the setting, character creation, house rules and additional equipment.
The second is the supplement to add psionics rules (including 2 psionicist classes) to Labyrinth Lord.
Now I just need to get hold of a long-arm stapler!
Seems really nice! I am enjoying the Ix post series. Do you plan on releasing them sometime?
ReplyDeleteHey Diogo, glad you're enjoying it!
DeleteI expect I'll probably release the material properly in some form at some point. Not sure yet how or when though... I want to give it a thorough playtesting first, and then there's the issue of the booklets being full of artwork which I found on the internet (i.e. which I don't have rights to). We'll see...
I recognize those Dune drawings! :)
ReplyDeleteHere they are in all their glory:

I'm getting very itchy to re-read Dune now :)
Nicely done. Thanks for making me envious...
ReplyDeleteHaha, sorry! I'll share when it's ready :)
DeleteThese are very cool and I they have inspired me a bit too. I started playing around with making little booklets for my group now too. I even started writing up modules in the half page layout like you do yours too. Its a lot of fun for me. Adds an extra level of "crafting" & "design" fun to the process enhancing the hobby aspect for me.
ReplyDeleteYeah the DIY / craft aspect is something I'm just getting into as well... it's a lot of fun, and it's not that hard to come up with some pretty nice looking booklets without too much effort nowadays -- very satisfying!
